Early Education and Care

Early Education and Care students study child development, teaching methods and educational theory. These technical skills and knowledge are introduced, developed, and put into practice as student teachers in community childcare programs and the on-site Early Education Center. After meeting the requirements set by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care along with Blue Hills, students will be recommended for infant/toddler teacher and/or preschool teacher certification.
